13000 COVID-19 Cases Registered in One Day in USA

The United States of America has also overtaken China in the number of coronavirus cases. According to the reports, the number of coronavirus infected patients in the United States has risen to 82,404. The shocking thing is that yesterday itself 13000 new cases have been reported. One reason for this is that the US is investigating people on a larger scale than other countries affected by the epidemic.

The Coronavirus Response Coordinator of the White House, Dr. Deborah Birks, told reporters on Thursday that so far we have tested 3 lakh 70 thousand people. In the last eight days, we have investigated more than 2 lakh 20 thousand people.

However, the US has crossed the figure of 81 thousand 782 infected people in China. The death toll related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country is still lower than in China. In America 1,178 people have died of the virus so far, while 3,291 people have died in China.

Americans have been ordered to stay at home by their president Donald Trump. Education systems, restaurants, shopping malls and bars have been closed due to the possibility of the deadly virus spreading.

On 11 March, the WHO declared the coronavirus outbreak as an epidemic, which has now spread to 199 countries and territories. New York City is one of the most affected cities in America due to coronavirus. Here the number of infected cases of coronavirus has reached 38,000 and 281 people have died.
