9 Men Arrested In TSRTC Bus Theft Case

9 Men Arrested In TSRTC Bus Theft Case

A gang in Hyderabad stolen a bus which belongs to the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) from MGBS said Hyderabad police. On April 24, RTC driver Jaggari Venkatesham lodged a complaint at the Afzalgunj police station that his bus was stolen.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said, “Special teams were formed to trace the missing bus and capture the offenders”. The investigation says that the bus was located at Nanded of Maharashtra.

Two auto drivers were accused of stealing the bus on the night of April 24. Later, auto drivers handed over the bus to a notorious criminal gang, which crossed the bus depot at 12.03 am. The bus headed towards Toopran. With the help of a towing crane, the Maharastra additional teams traced the bus after it broke down en route, near Bokar, which is 60km away from Nanded.

Police have arrested nine men and also recovered dismantled parts of the bus. Syed Abed is an auto driver from Chilkalguda and his brother Syed Zehad is also an auto driver stole the bus from MGBS.
