A wide majority of employees working in the corporate sector in India are stressed about going back to work after the end of the lockdown. Indians anxious about returning to office especially concerned about the health, a survey has found
FYI, a health-tech community product conducted a survey to assess the anxiety level of employees and observed that employees expect their employers to take responsibility to ensure a healthy and safe environment for them post COVID-19 lockdown.
As India companies prepare for offices to open post the lockdown, the survey assesses the anxiety level of employees. And, it records a strong desire to do what’s right by complying with new health monitoring compliances. Also, along with a high degree of awareness of changes in routine that await them.
Of these employees, 85 percent were male and 15 percent were female. The data also showed that 59 percent of employees are concerned about their health. Where 25 percent said they are anxious about their financial situation. Also, 16 percent fear that the crisis will be a prolonged one, leading to high anxiety.
FYI undertook this survey in the last week of April 2020. The survey was conducted by MindMap Advance Research with 560 India Inc. employees across small, medium, and large enterprises in major metro cities of Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
