ABN And TV5 News Channels Banned In AP
TV9 and ABN Andhra Jyothy are banned in Telangana right after KCR becoming the CM in 2014, Currently, AP CM YS Jagan did the same thing. ABN And TV5 News Channels banned in AP since last evening both the news channels are not getting streamed all over Andhra Pradesh.
ABN and TV5 are blacked out by Multiple System Operators (MSO) in Andhra Pradesh and as per source operators, got clear instructions from the YSRCP government. Reasons are said to be that TDP is protesting against YSRCP and called for ‘Chalo Atmakur’ and the episodes at Palanadu were deeply covered by ABN and TV5. This also caught the attention of national media and the issue turned big.
YSRCP is said to be anger over the issue and accordingly instructed MSOs to blackout the channels. It is pretty much clear that YS Jagan right after taking oath as CM, he issued a strong warning to the media groups ABN, Eenadu, TV5, and other channels supporting TDP.
ABN and TV5 News Channels may approach the High Court for the sudden ban on their channels in Andhra Pradesh.
