Akshay Kumar Donated 1 Crore To Odisha

Akshay Kumar once again proved that he is a man with golden heart Akshay Kumar has donated staggering Rs 1 crore to the cyclone Fani hit Odisha state. The cyclone Fani has devastated severe property damage which is estimated up to hundreds of crores. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took an aerial survey in Odisha state and noticed severe damage caused by cyclone Fani, he announced Rs 1000 crore as initial disaster relief fund to Odisha. AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu also donated 15 Cr relief fund to Odisha.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has requested to the people of the country, to donate to rebuild Odisha. This is not for the first time that Akshay Kumar made such a huge donation. Earlier he contributed Rs 5 crore for “Bharat Ke Veer” is a fund-raising initiative by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India on behalf of members of the Indian Paramilitary Forces. The amount so donated will be credited to the account of ‘Next of Kin’ of those of Central Armed Police Force (all seven) or National Disaster Response Force soldiers. Akshay Kumar also donated Rs 1 crore each to Kerala and Tamil Nadu states when they were washed out by deadly floods.
