Akshay Kumar Donates 25 Crores to PM Cares Fund

The coronavirus is wreaking havoc all over the world. On the one hand, in India, PM Narendra Modi has ordered a lockdown for 21 days. Many Tollywood stars has donated for the relief fund to help the poor.

Now, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has donated Rs 25 crore from the PM Cares Fund to fight against the coronavirus. In fact, recently, PM Narendra Modi tweeted, “People from all walks of life expressed their desire to donate to India’s war against COVID-19. Respecting that spirit, the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund has been constituted. This will go a long way in creating a healthier India.”

Retweeting this social media post of PM Modi, Akshay Kumar informed that he is donating Rs 25 crore to this care fund. Akshay Kumar wrote in his post, ‘This is the time where every life at stake. In such a situation, we have to do everything that is necessary for help. In such critical times, I help 25 crores from my savings. Let’s save the lives, Because if there is life, then there is the world.’
