With the closure of the movie halls in the wake of the lockdown, the release of new films was not possible, and they are releasing Amitabh movie on the OTT platform. Most of the films that completed shooting and ready for release are being shown live on TV via Amazon Prime, Netflix, Sun NXT, and OTT. The latest production of “Gulabo Sitabo” starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurana will be released on Amazon Prime.

Amitabh is playing the role of an old man named “Gulabo”, while Ayushmann Khurana is playing the role of “Sitabo”. The film, which has already completed shooting, is likely to hit theaters on April 17. However, The movie theaters have been shut down in the country as a wake of Corona. The film will go live on Amazon Prime starting on June 12. Gulabo Sitabo has been produced by Ronny Lahiri and Sheil Kumar. It has is directed by Shoojit Sircar.

This has to be the first movie for Amitabh Movie on OTT which will be released before theatres.
