Andhra Pradesh Telangana Zones List Released By Central Government

Andhra Pradesh Telangana Zones List

The government has divided the affected areas into three zones so that officials can take action against this virus. The central has divided into three categories named Red, Orange and Green Zones. The area might fall into a certain category depends on the reported cases, virus spread, and severity.

Recently, The central government has made some changes to these zones. Preeti Sudan, current Health Secretary of India, has written to all the chief secretaries of the states.

The Home Department said 130 districts across the country were in the Red Zone, 284 were in the Orange Zone and 319 were in the Green Zone. Most of the 19 districts in UP are in the Red Zone. Also, there are few red zones in our Telugu states.

Andhra Pradesh District Zones:

Red Zone (5): Kurnool, Guntur, Krishna, Nellore, Chittoor

Orange Zone (7): East Godavari, West Godavari, Kadapa, Anantapur, Srikakulam, Prakasam, Visakhapatnam

Green Zone (1): Vijayanagaram

Telangana District Zones:

Red Zone (6): Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchel Malkajgiri, Suryapet, Vikarabad, Warangal Urban

Orange Zone (18): Nizamabad, Jogulamba Gadwal, Nirmal, Nalgonda, Adilabad, Kamareddy, Sanga Reddy, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Khammam, Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar, Jagithalaya, Rajanna Sirisilla, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Medak, Janagaam, Narayanpet, Manchiryala

Green Zone (9): Peddapalli, Nagar Kurnool, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kotha Gudem, Mahabubabad, Siddipeta, Warangal Rural, Vanaparthi, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri
