AP High Court Sensational Judgement On Polavaram

AP High Court Sensational Judgement On Polavaram reverse tendering to go into the details, The Andhra Pradesh High Court had suspended the plea on AP Genco’s decision to cancel the agreement that was given to the Navayuga Company for constructing the Polavaram hydel power project during TDP government. The court issued interim orders asking the YSRCP government to stop its reverse tendering process of cancelling old agreements and inviting new tenders. This judgement was a big jolt to the YCP government.

The Navayuga Company knocked court door and filed petition saying that their agreement was cancelled by the present government was unfair without even clearing huge dues for past works. The central government and the Polavaram Project Authority (PPA) have objected to the re-tendering but the ruling state government went ahead saying that it has got approval from the PM Modi and Amit Shah. YS Jagan’s reverse tendering is facing severe criticism from the opposition parties.

TDP chief and former Cheif Minister Chandrababu Naidu said this is a tight slap on YSRCP government which is blindly taking decisions. Naidu said that with uneven decisions by YCP on Polavaram will lead to delay of the project and reverse tendering will double the budget of the construction. Court Judgement On Polavaram given today.
