Balayya filed Nomination in Hindupur :
Actor Politician MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna filed his nomination on Friday from Hindupur assembly. He filed nomination at Tehsildar’s office with a huge road show in Hindupur with a massive number of his fans and hardcore TDP supporters. Balayya stood on topless jeep waving to the crowd, his fans cheered with Jai Balayya slogans continuously.
Hindupuram assembly segment is a strong fort for Telugu Desam Party since NTR founded TDP party he successfully stood unbeaten till his last breath, after NTR’s death his son Harikrishna represented it in 1996 and won with a thumping majority of 50,000 votes and again in 2014, Nandamuri Balakrishna won from Hindupur with 15000 votes.
IG K. Iqbal Ahmed Khan a retired IPS officer is contesting on Balakrishna on YCP ticket as a minority candidate he is also confident on winning Hindupur seat. Balakrishna, who promised while 2014 elections had resolved the major issue of drinking water problem with Rs 194 Cr under drinking water scheme and taken some other development activities in Hindupur.
His fans and TDP supporters are very confident over Balayya’s victory.
