Election Commission in Telangana is using Ballot papers for polling in Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituency, as 185 candidates are contesting, as we are aware that 200 farmers submitted nominations for Nizamabad Loksabha, as yesterday is the last day of withdrawal nomination 178 farmers remained in the election battle.
Kalvakuntla. Kavitha sitting MP of Nizamabad Lok Sabha from ruling TRS party is once again contesting from Nizamabad. Congress party is fielding Madhu Goud Yaskhi as its MP candidate from Nizamabad which he represented in the past.
Chief Electoral Officer Rajath Kumar said Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) can be used for a maximum of 64 candidates EC will use ballot papers for polling in Nizamabad as 185 candidates, including 178 farmers, remained in poll battle in Nizamabad. Red sorghum and Turmeric farmers filed mass nominations to seek attention regarding the minimum profitable rate for their crop.
Rajath Kumar also said 443 candidates were in the poll battle for all total 17 Lok Sabha seats in the Telangana which commence on April 11.
