Earthquake Hits South Japan
Japan has a different geological structure which the country faces Major earthquakes and volcano eruptions occur every year another earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.3 hits off the coast of southern Japan on Friday but no tsunami warning was issued and there were no immediate reports of damage, the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) said.
The earthquake occurred at 8.48 a.m. in Japan’s local time, with its epicentre off the coast of Miyazaki prefecture at a depth of 20 km, Japan Meteorological Agency said.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) recorded the magnitude at 6.4. on the rector scale.
