High Court Cancelled English Medium Compulsory

YS Jagan government got a huge shock in AP High court. The High Court of Andhra Pradesh canceled the GO 81 and 85 of English Medium Compulsory in Andra Pradesh state which has passed by the YSRCP government. Doctor Guntupalli Srinivas from Eluru filed a petition against the AP government GO and the court has given its verdict.

The High Court issued the verdict after hearing arguments from both sides. The court believed, Students shouldn’t be forced to join the English medium and it should be decided by the children and their parents.

Another PIL has also been filed in the high court against the AP government by lawyer Indraneel. The lawyer said there was a risk that some backlogs would be left if the English medium was mandated. The court reserved its verdict after hearing arguments. Finally, The High Court has canceled the passed GO’s 81 and 85.
