Indian women’s cricket team has reached the T20 world cup final for the first time in history. The semi-final match played at Australia’s Sydney Cricket Ground has been canceled due to rain. With this, Team India has reached the final of the T20 World Cup 2020 for the first time.

On Thursday, the Indian women’s cricket team has to be played with England in the first semi-final of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020. The match has to be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). However, The match has been canceled due to rain. Due to rain, Team India directly qualified for the finals as they were the table-toppers in the group stages. The Indian Women Cricket Team is on top in Group-A by winning all four matches with 8 points and it got the benefit of the cancellation of the first semi-final.

The International Cricket Council(ICC) hasn’t planned Reserve Day for the semi-finals in the Women’s T20 World Cup. Two semi-final matches have to be played on the same venue today in the Sydney cricket ground Australia. There is a possibility of rain during the second semi-final match between Australia vs SouthAfrica. If this happens India will play final with South Africa. According to the reports, 50000 tickets have already been sold for the final which is going to happen on Sunday 8th March 2020.
