Cricket lovers all over the world are eagerly waiting for the Indian Premier League. This year’s IPL 13th season has to begin on March 29. However, the possibility of IPL getting canceled this year is on the cards. The world’s richest cricket league could be canceled due to wuhan’s coronavirus. Due to Corona, many events around the world have been canceled. The IPL is likely to be included in the list.

The IPL tournament is all set to begin on March 29. According to the schedule, The first match has to be played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.

We all know Coronavirus is likely to spread under 25 degrees temperature. Now in the IPL Schedule time, the temperature around the venues will likely be around 24-25 Celsius.  So, It will help corona to get spread as there will be around 50,000 people who will come into every match. Therefore, the BCCI is confused as to whether to continue the IPL tournament or cancel the tournament.

The BCCI may also consider the postponement of IPL dates. But it is difficult to postpone as there will be world T20 around the corner. So, BCCI may consider IPL 2020 to be cancelled this year.  Corona has already spread across the states in India and 42 cases have been registered according to the sources.
