IPL 2020 Full List of Transfers – Shocking Tradings

IPL 2020 Full List of Transfers: The most powerful league in the cricket world Indian Premier League(IPL) is all going to start it’s 13th season in April 2020. Recently the trading between teams has been closed for this season as trading has been met the deadline i.e, on November 14th, 2019. Many franchises have utilized this trading feature pretty well to get the best players in the team to fulfill the team requirement. Last year there has been a major blow to Sun Risers Hyderabad(SRH) as their number one player and the Indian opening batsmen Shikhar Dhawan opted to play for Delhi Capitals(DC).

This year also we got surprises for the IPL fans. There were some notable trading’s happened before the auction begins next month that is on December 19th, 2019. Recently, The BCCI president Sourav Ganguly(Dada) has announced the opening ceremony is a waste of money. So, there will be no opening ceremony for IPL from this season onwards.

Mumbai Indians – Delhi Capitals Trade:

The Indian Premier League (IPL) defending champion Mumbai Indians on Wednesday announced the addition of New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult for the upcoming season. Boult who was part of Delhi Capitals last year will be playing Mumbai Indians this year. However, The interesting thing is Mumbai hasn’t mentioned any player name in exchange for Boult. Boult made his IPL debut in 2014 and has since taken 38 wickets in 33 IPL matches. This experienced kiwi fast bowler is going to be paid 2.2 crores for this season. Four-time champions Mumbai Indians had earlier included Sherfane Rutherford of the West Indies in their squad. They have traded Mayank Markande to the Delhi Capitals. Sherfane has been included in the squad for 2 crores. Earlier they released another dashing West Indies batsman from the squad, Evin Lewis, as he hasn’t shown much impact in the IPL 2019 season.

Rajasthan Royals Shocking Trade:

Krishnappa Gowtham

One of the shocking trades of the year is Rajasthan Royals(RR) leaving Ajinkya Rahane. This Indian test vice-captain who has been part of the RR squad since IPL beginning has traded to Delhi Capitals for the next season. It was announced on the last day of the trading date i.e, Thursday 14th November. At the same time, Delhi Capitals have released leg spinners Mayank Markande and Rahul Tewatia to the Rajasthan Royals.

Rahane who has played more than 100 matches for Rajasthan has a price tag of 4 crores. Another notable trading by the Rajasthan team is they have released Krishnappa Gowtham who has helped Rajasthan winning more matches last year, They traded Ankit Rajpoot from KXIP for Krishnappa Gowtham. Ankit was associated with Kings XI Punjab form 2018 and has taken 22 wickets in 23 IPL matches so far.

 Captain Ravi Chandran Ashwin Trade:

Ashwin

Indian prime off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin will play for the Delhi Capitals in the next edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Kings XI Punjab has traded him to Delhi for Karnataka spinner Jagadeesha Suchith.  Ashwin who is the captain for Punjab in the last two seasons has been traded. Ashwin captained Punjab in 28 matches, out of which he won 12 and lost 16. Ashwin has taken 125 wickets in the 139 matches he played in IPL. Ashwin has a price tag of 1.5 crores.

Finally, Dhawal Kulkarni has also been traded from Rajasthan to Delhi Capitals and this player has a price tag of 75 Lakhs. He is one of the players in the IPL who has been playing since IPL inaugural season. However, There have been no trades from SRH and KKR teams.
