World’s richest cricket league IPL has postponed. The 13th season of the Indian Premier League will no longer begin on March 29. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has postponed IPL 2020 to April 15. We all know this has been due to the threat of Coronavirus.
According to the schedule, The first IPL 2020 match to be held on March 29 Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. The match has to be played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). However, After the postponement they now have to rerelease the schedule of IPL 13.
The BCCI has decided to reschedule the IPL after the government decision of all the foreign visas has been canceled. So, All the foreign players who are ready to play in IPL were not able to reach India until April 15. So, BCCI has taken this decision to postpone the season.
