IRCTC Cancelled Trains
Coronavirus is currently shaking the world and it is affecting all sectors. All the shares had fallen including tourism. It is also damaging Indian Railways. Tejas Express, the country’s first private railway, has been suspended due to corona. The tourism department had taken this decision to stop this train services regarding the concerns of safety to passengers.
IRCTC announced that Tejas Express trains between Lucknow-Delhi and Ahmedabad-Mumbai have been canceled till March 31. In addition, the recently opened new train – Kashi-Mahakal Express between Varanasi-Indore has also been canceled till April 1.
However, the Railway Ministry has announced that they will refund their money to passengers who have already booked tickets. The number of passengers traveling has been greatly reduced due to fears of coronavirus. Considering this IRCTC has canceled all 85 trains up to April 1.
