Jagan Bans Private Practice By Government Doctors
Taking another bold decision Andhra Pradesh Cheif Minister YS Jagan bans private practice by Government doctors in order to revive the health department in AP, Jagan led the YSRCP government has appointed Sujatha Rao Committee to come up with a detailed report and proposals.
Sujatha Rao committee had submitted a report to CM YS Jagan with approximately 100 proposals. One of the proposals is banning the private practice of government doctors. The committee has also opined that the salaries of government doctors should be hiked. So the doctors wouldn’t go for private practice.
This new proposal of banning government doctors for their private practice will certainly impact thousands of government doctors. Also, they might well protest against this decision. After submitting the report, the Sujatha Rao committee discussed the proposals with CM YS Jagan and other ministers including Health Minister Alla Nani for over two hours. Later YS Jagan approved the committee report.
Sujatha Rao committee also made proposals are considering Arogya Sri at Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai super-specialty hospitals. From January 1st, the Arogya Sri scheme will include 2000 diseases.
