JP Nadda, Rajya Sabha member from Himachal Pradesh, was appointed as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) working president by BJP parliamentary board. Nadda is the second top boss of the party. Amit Shah, the Home Minister of India, will remain as BJP’s chief.
JP Nadda was the minister for health and family in the past cabinet and played a crucial part in the party’s Uttar Pradesh campaign in the recent Lok Sabha polls. Nadda is the in-charge of UP played a crucial role in finalizing party contestants. After Shah, Nadda is considered to be the biggest strategist in BJP as per party sources.
Jagat Prakash Nadda (JP Nadda) is the former Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and member of Rajya Sabha from Himachal Pradesh and Parliamentary Board Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party. Earlier, he was a Minister in Himachal Pradesh Government.
JP Nadda was appointed as BJP’s Working President in the BJP Party’s parliamentary board meeting in New Delhi. Having elected as MLA for terms in 1993, 1998 and 2007, JP Nadda also has served as state minister in HP.
