West Indies captain, Caribbean Dynamite Kieron Pollard has set a new T20 world record. This wonderful allrounder created the record by playing 500 T20 matches. He is the first player to reach this milestone in world cricket history.
Pollard achieved this feat in the first T20 match which is happened against Sri Lanka at the Pallekele stadium. Pollard was awarded with West Indies jersey which has specially designed with 500 number on the backside, before the match.
In this match, Pollard scored 34 runs in just 15 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 3 fours. With the help of his heroics, west indies posted a score of 196 on the board. In this 1st T20I match Westindies won by 25 runs against Srilanka.
Another star west Indies all-rounder Dwyane Bravo has not far behind Kieron Pollard and has played 453 T20 matches. He is the second in the list with Universal Boss Chris Gayle is the third in the list and he has played 404 matches.
