Lockdown Extended to May 3 – Relaxation Will Be From April 20

The lockdown has been extended till May 3 in the country in view of the Corona crisis. On April 14, 2020, the last day of the 21-day lockdown, PM Modi addressed the nation in the morning. He thanked the countrymen for following the lockdown during this period.

India’s fight against the coronavirus pandemic continues. I know how many troubles you have faced for saving the country. Like a soldier you are performing the task. Modi said to stop the spreading of coronavirus in our country we need the social distance. So, Lockdown will continue until May 3.

However, Modi has said that few essential item shops will be opened from 20th April. But, We have to follow strict lockdown for April 20 and relaxation for essential items until May 3. Not only that, but He also urged people to don’t send out the elders. Finally, He paid the tribute to Dr. Br Ambedkar as it was his birthday.

According to the Health Ministry, 1211 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, while 31 deaths have occurred. Also, the cases in India has gone up to 10,363, of which 8988 are active cases. 1035 have been cured, while 339 people have lost their lives.
