Mahesh-bunny competed at the box office for this year Sankranti. Mahesh come up with Sarileru Nekevvaru while Bunny came up with Ala Vaikunthpuramulo. These two films target is to beat the Baahubali movie collections. However, Mahesh’s movie failed in this and Bunny film has almost reached the collections of Baahubali.

Now coming to Mahesh Movie Sarileru Neekevvaru has created a record by beating Baahubali-2. However, it is not on the silver screen,  but on the small screen. The film, which aired on Gemini TV as a Ugadi gift, had got a rating of 23.35 TRP. This is higher than Baahubali-2’s rating (21.7) in the past.

Actually, The film has aired on Amazon Prime before. However, It didn’t create much impact and it has broken the record.  Eventually lockdown has also played a huge role in getting the TRP high.
