Lasith Malinga, the Sri Lankan fast bowler, took 4 wickets in 4 balls to dismantle New Zealand in the third and final Twenty20 International in Pallekele on Friday. In the third over of the match, Malinga removed Colin Munro, Hamish Rutherford, Colin de Grandhomme, and Ross Taylor off consecutive balls. After his deadly attack, New Zealand crore was  15/4 in 3 overs. 36-year-old Malinga was the first bowler in T20Is to claim 100 wickets.

Malinga’s career-best figures of 5/6 in his four overs gave Sri Lanka a decent win by 37 runs. New Zealand won the series 2-1.
