When asked why he hated Gandhi, he said because he is always telling the truth which is not that easy. That’s why I respect him, but he is also a failed political leader.

Nathuram Godse was born on May 19, 1910, in the town of Baramati in Pune district of Maharashtra. His mother is Lakshmi and his father is Vinayak Vaman Rao Godse. He was a fan of Gandhi at first and later broke away from Gandhism and joined the RSS. He also served as editor of the Hindu Mahasabha weekly published in 1948 from the Hindu Mahasabha.

Godse opposed Pakistan’s partition of India. At that time, Gandhi was fasting for a compensation of 50 crores to India. Outraged, Nathuram Godse, Narayan Apte, Gopal Godse, and some others assassinated Gandhi. After assassinating, he surrendered to the police without escaping. As a result, Nathuram Godse hanged at Ambala Prison, Haryana on November 15, 1949.

Godse, the first person executed in independent India. Godse was also born in a country where Gandhi was born. How important that we read about Gandhi’s life, We have known about Godse’s too. If we speak the truth, Gandhi may live only ten years after independence because of his age. But Godse sacrificed a life span of about 50 years. Who can sacrifice this life for the nation?

Knowing that Godse is against the RSS, which opposes killing Gandhi, he himself has withdrawn from social programs. RSS ideology has taught patriotism, sacrifice, and love in Godse. However, he was far from the RSS for his decision. Godse killed Gandhi in the sense that Kashmir would give up Pakistan if Gandhiji was still alive. Our Prime Minister Nehru and Pakistan Prime Minister Jinnah are conspiring against Kashmir and if they get Gandhiji’s support Pakistan will get Kashmir.

Godse, who does not want to break through the whole of India. The Godse is the only base for his family. But before the future of the country, his family’s problems seemed small. Gandhiji was assassinated on January 30, 1948, at home at five hours and 15 minutes. After killing Gandhiji, Godse did not want to flee. When Gandhi died, Godse was the first to be offended. Godse’s sacrifice is unforgettable. Everyone always sees Godse as an evil person who killed Gandhi but no one will ever wonder why he killed Gandhiji. Good and bad are natural in everyone. That is why we should always look at both aspects of each other.
