The High Court has postponed the petition filed by Ramesh Kumar as the SEC. The petition was heard in the High Court on Monday morning. The court has ordered the government to file a counter by 17 of this month. The next hearing has adjourned to next Monday. Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar filed a petition against the Jagan government‘s decision of changing the GO and suspending him.

TDP leaders Varla Ramaiah and BJP former ministers Kamineni Srinivas and Vadde Sobhanadreeswara Rao have filed a petition on behalf of Ramesh Kumar in the court. BJP representative Sai Krishna said Ramesh Kumar has identified the forthcoming threat and postponed the elections. Otherwise it would have been a disaster to us.

YCP leaders, Ambati Rambabu, and others have supported the decision of changing the election commissioner. However, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani commented that changing SEC is a cheap trick from YCP. Also, Nani said, YCP is doing silly politics during Corona.
