Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar Response on State Funds 5100 Crores

State Chief Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has said that there are moments that the center has released even if the elections were postponed. He responded to the decision taken on local body elections in the state.

State Government General Secretary Nilam Sawhney asked the EC chief for the reason of postponing the Panchayat elections. Then Ramesh Kumar replied with the three Pages Letter showing in detail about why elections had to be postponed.

I have seen finance affairs in Raj Bhavan in the past. Before Raj Bhavan, I had the experience of working in the central finance ministry. If elections were stopped or postponed still the central have released the funds few times.

Due to the effect of Coronavirus, local body elections have already been stopped in Maharashtra, West Bengal, and the Odisha States. The state EC is aware of the funds’ issue and I had taken the decision after discussing it with the central health and family welfare department written by Ramesh Kumar in the article.

After postponing the panchayat elections Jagan has fired on the EC chief. He hasn’t contacted anybody and due to this, the Andhra Pradesh Government has to lose 5100 crores. Corona hasn’t taken any toll on AP and even it’s not that dangerous said by Jagan.
