Phase 2 Lok Sabha Elections

As voting of Phase 1 is completed on April 11 then the next phase Phase 2 Lok Sabha Elections is taking place on April 18 2019.11 states and 1 union territory are voting to elect Members of Parliament for Lok Sabha in 95 seats.

Assam, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal, Chhattisgarh are the 11 states which are voting for Phase 2 and one Union Territory Puducherry. The time set by the Election Commission of India for Phase 2 election is from 7 am to 6 pm. Around 1,600 candidates are contesting on 95 seats for the Phase2 of Lok Sabha election 2019.

National president of JD(Secular) party and Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, Yesteryears Dreamgirl Hema Malini, Senior Congress leader Veerappa Moily, Karunanidhi’s daughter Kanimozhi, Uttar Pradesh Congress chief and actor Raj Babbar and National Conference President(NCP) Farooq Abdullah are among the prominent candidates for Phase 2 Lok Sabha election 2019.

ECI (Election Commission of India) scheduled the election process in 7 Phases. The polling dates for national election 2019 are April 11, April 18, April 23, April 29, May 6, May 12 and May 19. As Phase 1 polling is over on April 11. Elections 2019 result will be announced on May 23 for 17th Lok Sabha.
