PM Modi Statement About Coronavirus
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given two statements regarding coronavirus. IN these two statements he has said that the government is completely cautious about the status of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). A number of steps have been taken to ensure safety and stop spreading the corona. This can be done by not involving in any large gatherings.
Modi also confirmed any minister of the central government will travel abroad in the coming days. I urge our countrymen to avoid non-essential travel. Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has made it clear that Indians trapped in foreign will be brought home under any circumstances.
The Foreign Minister said that 58 Indian people have been brought back from Iran on Tuesday and more than two hundred others will come soon. He said that today a medical team is being sent to Italy today to investigate the trapped Indians so that they can be brought back.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan told that the screening system of the Government of India is tight and very dense. So, People don’t need to panic over the Indians coming back from Italy and Iran. 150 to 250 people coming from foreign countries daily with each suspect are being monitored. At present, health check-ups and coronavirus screening happening at 30 airports.
PM Modi has also tweeted about the coronavirus to the people, ” Say no to panic, Say yes to precautions.”
