Rahul Gandhi Apologises To Supreme Court

As National elections are going on the two leaders Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi are in loggerheads, on the ongoing row of  “chowkidar chor hai” slogan by Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday in an affidavit offered his unconditional apology to the Supreme Court for unintentionally linking the Supreme Court in the Rafale Deal review plea to his Congress party’s political slogan “chowkidar chor hai” targetted at Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Rahul Gandhi filed a three-page affidavit explaining the unconditional apology. Rahul also requested the Supreme court to close the contempt proceedings against him based on a petition filed by BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi.

The Supreme Court scheduled to hear the matter on Friday.
