Ranarangam is a gangster movie which falls under GodFather genre an old-aged formula. But the trailer looked promising and how did Sudheer Varma handled this genre is going to be interesting and how Sharwanand portrayed an aged gangster? Let’s see this genre worked or not?

Story:

Deva (Sharwanand) is a young man from the slums near Vizag port along with his friends, he sells black tickets in cinema halls in the mid-90s. The prohibition act by the government of AP leads Deva to sell liquor illegally by exporting from Orissa. The local MLA Simhachalam (Murli Sharma) is also in that illegal liquor business. Deva is in love with Geetha (Kalyani Priyadarshan) who lives in his area and the duo gets married. In the war between Deva and Simhachalam regarding liquor, Geetha was killed in a bomb blast planned by goons and Deva take vengeance. after that incident, Deva leaves illegal activities and flies to Spain with his months-old daughter and decides to live a peaceful life. But his rude past haunts him and he is forced to come back to India and the rest is the story of “Ranarangam.”
