As per the reports coming repolling in districts, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore in Andhra Pradesh are going on quietly on Monday as many booths witnessed the outburst in voter turnout and few places saw the decrease in polling.
In Kesanapally of Guntur, 40.25% was recorded by 11 am. In Nallacheruvu, only 28 % votes polled till 11 am. In Nallacheruvu, which is part of Guntur West Constituency, the TDP MP candidate Galla Jayadev entered the polling booth wearing Yellow scarf on his shoulders YSRCP chief polling agent objected as that was the party colour, but any way election staff allowed him into the booth.
In Tirupati of Chittoor district, Atakanitippa, where the re-polling is being done, 62% votes were polled till 11.30 am.
In most of the polling stations, the voters, as well as poll officials are facing severe summer heat which is raising day by day Andhra Pradesh.
