Indian Legends Beat Srilanka Legends in Road Safety World Series 2020

India Legends defeated Sri Lanka Legends by 5 wickets in a match of the Unacademy Road Safety World Series 2020. After winning the toss Sachin Tendulkar opted to field first for the Indian Legends. While Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 138 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. In response, the Indian team achieved the target by losing 5 wickets in 18.4 overs. Irfan Pathan scored 57 and Mohammad Kaif scored 46 runs to secure the win for India. Former Indian all-rounder, Pathan was adjudged Man of the Match.

Many were thought chase will be butter and bread for India. However, Tables turned after losing 3 wickets for 19 runs. Opener Virender Sehwag (3) and Sachin Tendulkar (0) returned to the pavilion early. Yuvraj Singh, who came to bat at number four, could not do anything special and was dismissed for 1 run.

Then Indian Legends were in bother and here comes the miracle knock from Irfan Pathan. He gone back to his olden days and scored 57 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 6 Fours. Kaif also played very well and scored 46 crucial runs. Munaf Patel picked up four wickets in the Road Safety World Series 2020 match while conceding only 19 runs.
