Sye Raa Hindi Rights Acquired By Anil Thadani

Sye Raa Hindi Rights Sold:

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s periodic drama Sye Raa is making headlines with its stellar cast and grand release worldwide. Noted film distributor Anil Thadani husband of Bollywood actress Ravina Tandon had acquired the Hindi theatrical rights and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainments will market the film across Bollywood arena.

Anil Thadani also acquired the Hindi theatrical rights of Kannada blockbuster KGF that released last year. Sye Raa which is made on a huge budget of Rs 200 crores is hitting the screens on October 2nd on the eve of Gandhi Jayanthi in all the South Indian languages along with Hindi. As the makers of Sye Raa, are having little hope about Hindi release because there is a little buzz in Bollywood circles. But with a lot of stakes involved, Ram Charan and his team wanted a wide release for the film in Hindi.

Sye Raa is directed by Surendar Reddy, it is the life story of freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. Nayanthara is the female lead and Amitabh Bachchan is playing a crucial role. Music is composed by Amit Trivedi Sye Raa is slated to release on October 2nd.
