Coronavirus made a huge impact in Telangana state yesterday. Eight corona positive cases were reported on Wednesday. A group of people reached India from Indonesia. In this group a 21-year-old young man from Scotland, along with seven Indians tested positive.
With this, the total number of corona cases in the state so far has reached 13. A group of 10 members from Indonesia recently came to Karimnagar to participate in a religious program. On the 14th of March, In the Sampark Kranti train, they reached to Ramagundam from Delhi.
First, A 58-year-old man from the group has been tested positive for the coronavirus. After this, The rest of the group had gone for the test and seven of the results have gone positive. Due to this result, the Karimnagar district has alerted. Karimnagar district collector, police commissioner and minister Gangula Kamalakar has taken charge to stop the virus.
The team has been interrogating the places they have gone for and they all have been closed and cleaned. They went to a mosque in Ramagundam. Now, It has been closed. As a precautionary measure, the opposite bazaar is also completely closed.
Collector Shashank and Minister Gangula Kamalakar said the medical team will conduct medical tests for everyone within three kilometers range as the Indonesian group spent 48 hours here. Collector and Minister Gangula suggested that it would be better to close all the shops and businesses. Also, Staying at home is a social responsibility for all people.
