Uddhav Thackeray To Sworn As MLC Today

Nine people, including state chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, has unanimously elected in the recent elections. They have elected for the Maharashtra Legislative Council. Today he will take oath this afternoon. Also, 9 members voting for the vacant 9 seats means, they will be elected unanimously without any contest.

Among them are Shiv Sena leader Neelam Gorhi, BJP leaders Gopichand Padalkar, Praveen Datke, Ranjit Sinha Mohit Patil, and Ramesh Karad. Their swearing ceremony scheduled for today afternoon. But Uddhav, not a member of the two houses till now, needs to step down if not elected as MLC.

Due to this unanimous election, Uddhav Thackeray can continue to be Maharashtra Chief Minister.
