Umar Akmal Banned
Pakistan cricket board handed Umar Akmal three year ban from international cricket. This has been officially announced on their official Twitter account today. Umar Akmal has been given a three-year ban by Justice (retd) Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan, chairman of the disciplinary panel of PCB.

The PCB didn’t disclose the reasons for starting the investigation against him. However, He has been charged under two counts in February under Section 2.4.4 of the Board’s Anti-Corruption Code. Umar Akmal has been suspended just before the first match of the 2020 season of the Pakistan Super League. He is the younger brother of former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal.
