Women’s T20 World Cup Final 2020 – India’s Name Written on Title

Women’s T20 World Cup Final 2020

The final match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 is to be played between India and Australia on 8th March at the Melbourne cricket stadium, Australia. This match is going to start at 12.30 pm IST. Prior to this match, India’s middle-order batswomen Veda Krishnamurthy has said that Luck is with the Indian team at the moment and we will win for sure. Also, she said, India’s name is written on the World Cup.

The Indian women’s cricket team has made it to the final of the T20 World Cup for the first time and upset the defending champions Australia by 17 runs in the opening match of the tournament. The Indian team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, reached the final on Thursday with a stunning record of not losing a single match in the group round after a rainy semi-final against England. Veda Krishnamurthy was also part of the Indian team that was runners-up in the 2017 Women’s ODI World Cup when England won the title.

Veda also said, “I trust destiny a lot. I think it was meant to be like this.” She also responded to the comments from South African Captain Dane van Niekerk “she would rather lose than get a free ticket into a World Cup final”. This great batswoman said,” It is a reward for putting great performance in the group stage”. Hope Veda’s words become true and India Women lifts the World Cup T20 for the first time and create history.
