Government Allow Liquor Sale: The pandemic coronavirus virus is spreading rapidly in our country. The virus continues to spread despite the many important steps taken by our government. Officially, Maharashtra has seen the highest number of corona cases in the country. However, This doesn’t stop the Maharashtra government from making a sensational decision. Yes, the Maharashtra government is allowing liquor sales in the state.
This government state health minister Rajesh Tope has issued an official statement. However, They will be opened by following some key guidelines. Liquor shops will be open in a step by step process. They will be allowed in the non-hotspot areas first. They will be open from 11 am to 9 pm. Also, Only two customers and salesmen allowed for a liquor shop. Also, Social distancing is compulsory to open a liquor shop.
The government has also imposed a guideline that alcohol must be sold on MRP price and if anyone failed to follow the guidelines then the shop will be seized and police will take them into custody.
