Yashwant Sinha Countered Modi On Godhra Riots

Former BJP leader Yashwant Sinha gave a strong counter to PM Narendra Modi on attacking him with severe allegations and said that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was decided to sack Modi from Gujarat Cheif Minister post after the 2002 post-Godhra riots, but withdrawn the decision as then Home Minister LK Advani had threatened to resign from the Cabinet post if Vajpayee sacks Modi from CM post.

Yashwant Sinha in Bhopal also condemned the allegations over the misuse of INS Viraat by former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi and his sister Congress Party secretary Priyanka Gandhi also condemned the allegations on their father former Prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.
