YCP Confirms 3 MLC Tickets

YCP Confirms 3 MLC Tickets:

YSRCP Government under the leadership of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy confirmed  3 MLC tickets to Minister Mopidevi Venkataramana, Challa Ramakrishna Reddy and Mohammad Iqbal all these 3 YCP leaders are ready for filing nominations.

As their election is unanimous as the opposition TDP has no enough numbers while ruling government(YCP)got 151 MLAs in the 175-member assembly and TDP confined to 23.

Mopidevi is known loyalist of the late YSR family. He served as minister in the YSR Cabinet as well. Mopidevi had also faced CBI investigation in VANPIC case and he was also jailed for some time along with Jagan in the past. In 2019 he lost from Repalle Assembly Constituency. He belongs to the Fishermen(BC)community.

Challa Ramakrishna Reddy is a senior leader in YCP from Kurnool district. Jagan has promised MLC to him before the 2019 elections. He belongs to OC Reddy community.

Sheik Mohammad Iqbal is a retired police officer and he was defeated by Nandamuri Balakrishna in Hindupur assembly segment. YS Jagan promised him MLC ticket after his defeat in Hindupur against Balakrishna. Mohammad Iqbal belongs to the Muslim minority community.
