Yuvraj Singh Six Sixes Argument
Former team India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has revealed the argument behind hitting 6 six sixes in the over in 2007 T20 world cup. During an interaction with a YouTube channel, Yuvraj revealed an interesting story related to these six sixes.
Yuvraj said I had a heated argument with England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff in that match. I hit two consecutive sixes to Flintoff in the previous over. This wasn’t going well with him. So, He comes to me and said, it was a useless shot. Later an argument started. Then, In the middle of the conversation Flintoff told me, “If you come out I will cut your throat off. ”
This comment made me very angry. So I decided to hit the next ball out of the park. Luckily, It went in my way and gone out of the park. After hitting the first shot, I didn’t believe my power. Yuvraj also said, ‘To be honest, the thought of hitting six sixes had never come in my mind. But I want to hit every ball out of the park and it come out in my way and miracle happened.”
Also, In the fourth ball I hit the six over cover which has never happened in my entire career. But, things happened in the heat and after the fourth six, I smiled towards Dimitri Mascarenhas. Because I got hit four sixes in an over by him. Now, I completed the revenge So, I smiled towards him.
